Glasgow Corporation tram No 677 (standard hex dash ) heading west destination board reads Dalmuir West via Annisland. Note on back says taken in March 1938 at junction with Hope St. a new Austin 12 also heading east about to under take tram.This was a green car service, to be numbered 1A in May 1938, from which time the service colours began to be phased out. A typical ‘jaywalker’ sprints across in front of the tram which is on its way to a distant Dalmuir.
