Between 1913 and 1924 the Scottish Motor Traction Co. built 100 Lothians. Nearly all the chassis were forward control which was unusual at the time and carried full fronted bodywork. Early models had Minerva engines, later ones having Tylor units; chain-driven gearboxes were standard.
