Leyland LT1/LD B30F

A few single decker buses are in a yard. Nearest to camera is Reg. No. SN 4561 it belongs to a Lawsons operated bus of 1929. It was once owned by Robson’s of Hexham, Northumberland with destination board shows Consett, Durham. Next to this is YJ 6259 belongs to an Opel 8W. It was new to J T Villa for pleasure service in the Dundee area. It then went to Black’s in Callander, Stirlingshire in 1942. Then later to Dawson’s and Gordonalso of Callender. Ogilvie’s of Dunfirmline took ownership, but by 2nd February 1959 it was owned by Birrell, Markinch until it went to Hepburn, Leslie.
