Leyland Titan TD4 Leyland metal-framed body

R47 registered WG3381 is seen in Lindsay Street, Dundee, outside the showroom of George Mclean, in which can be seen a Ford Squire, dating the photo to post October 1955. However, the absence of tramway overhead further dates the picture to post October 1956 when Dundee’s tram operation ceased. This bus was withdrawn in 1959, giving a service life of 24 years. In this photo it looks smart after what was probably its final repaint.
