R425, registered WG 3261 had an interesting history. New as a single-decker in July 1936 the chassis was re-built to Titan TD4 standard and fitted with this Alexander body in December 1943. It also received an A.E.C. 7.7 litre engine at this time. It passed to Highland Omnibuses Ltd. in February 1952 where it stayed until withdrawn in 1959. It then became a driver trainer with the Moray School of Motoring until 1966 when it was sold to Moravian Motors and scrapped in 1979. Registered originally in 1936 this vehicle had an exceptional life of 43 years.
