P683, registered WG 9519 was the only Leyland Panda ever built.The twin steering front axles allowed a legal length of 30 feet to be achieved and hence a larger passenger capacity. An underfloor engine also allowed more space inside the saloon. Note the war-time headlamp masks which date the photo between 1939-1945.
