Very old photo of a horse and tram. There are two horses pulling a Tram. The route is Paisley and Parkhead and is part of the Glasgow Corporation. There is a man standing infront of the two horses, there are 3 other men standing at the back near the coach who work for the company also.Typical of the original fleet of double deck open top horse trams, 384 in total was introduced by Glasgow Corporation Tramways Departmet between 1894 and 1898. The crew posed for the photo before setting off to their route from Whitevale Deepot in Rowchester Street.
