This Arrol-Johnston was owned by the North British Railway. It operated from 1905 to 1910 between North Berwick, Dirleton, Gullane, and Aberlady, the main patrons being golfers.Throughout Britain the railway companies were among the first to introduce buses to country areas, connecting them to the nearest railhead.
