This is a photograph of the Argyll Works Building possibly taken in 1984. The factory was built between 1905 & 1906 at a cost of ë£220.000. The architect was Charles Halley. The building is in a state of dilapidation while awaiting new investors. It has now been rescued and currently houses a selection of designer outlets. This is a view from just inside the west gates
