An Albion single decker bus outside the Albion works in Scotstoun.As a demonstrator when new , this bus made a record breaking non-stop journey from Glasgow to London and back, covering the 800-odd miles in just over a day, which was good going for 1925. It was registered HS 4086 and in it’s later life operated for McGill of Barrhead for a few years during the 1930s.
