stages of restoration

A coach is being restored in March 1979. From the late 1930’s or early 1940’s this example has a cab over engine. Possibly Leyland chassis.Likely to have an AEC Regal 1 with burlington 35 seater body. Others like this example were supplied by Howe of Spennymoor, Durham. At one time Howe waspart of the OK Motor Service. Thes basic vehicles helped operators rebuild their businesses after WW2.
