Leyland Tiger TS1 Alexander B34R body

T72, owned by Central S.M.T.Co. Ltd. and registered SN 5417 is pictured below Stirling Castle. Stirling Castle was a traditional background for Alexander official photographs. This bus was originally supplied with a Leyland coach body to Clydebank Motors (hence the Dunbarton registration). It was acquired by Central SMT and was re-bodied as seen by Alexander in 1939. It was finally withdrawn in 1953 giving a service life of 22 years.
