LYS 943 was one of four Leyland demonstrators bodied by Alexander in 1953-4. It was acquired by Lowland Motorways in1954, passed to Scottish Omnibuses in 1958 and is seen in Stirling after becoming part of the Alexander (Midland) fleet in 1961. Noteworthy is the Dunbartonshire registered Vauxhall Victor. This is a facelifted model as the original had the exhaust pipe exiting throught the bumper with predictable consequences.
