Fleet no. PC71 registered EMS 526 is seen, probably at its destination of Inverness. Immediately behind is Highland Omnibuses E72 (EST 572), the unique full-fronted Guy Arab with Strachans lowbridge body. These substantial vehicles were the first generation of under-floor engined coaches and were as heavy as they looked, their unladen weight of almost 8 tons being greater than most of the double-deckers of the day.
