CAV 899 came into the Alexander fleet with the takeover of Sutherland of Peterhead in 1950. It is seen at Dundas St. bus station in Glasgow bound for Gartloch Hospital near Easterhouse. Platform doors were fitted to this bus by Sutherlands which necessitated an emergency exit on the off-side, just behind the driver’s door.
