CMS286 was part of a batch of 28 similar coaches delivered to Alexander in 1949. They were powered by what is remembered as particularly smooth running 6-cyl., 4.08 litre petrol engines. This bus is seen after its Alexander days, probably as fruit-pickers transport on one of the many such farms in East Central Scotland.
