Bedford OB Duple Body

This was taken at 2300hr at Uyeasound, Unst, the most northerly of the Shetland Isles. The bus is registered as AMS 240. The local bus operator was J.G. Hunter of Baltasound. It was originally destined for Alexander of Falkirk but never operated by them as it entered service in 1945 with Leask of Lerwick who sold it to Hunter in 1954.
