Number 39 in the Scottish General Omnibus fleet an 18 seater Cowieson- bodied Albion pictured at the opposite kerbside. The Scottish General Omnibus Company was known as “the General” and was formed in 1919 as a subsidiary of Falkirk and District Tramways. It’s fleet had a grey livery and were called “the grey torpedo cars”.
