Albion 30/45 h.p. three-axle four ton lorry with caterpillar tracks photographed at Drumtian Ford which croses the River Endrick near Killearn. Photograph dates from 1928, and looks towards the Killearn bend of the Endrick. Today a pedestrian footbridge spans the river at this point Albion Motors of Scotstoun regularly used Stirlingshire roads and rivers to test new vehicles prior to delivery. Fintry to Lennoxtown via the Crow Road was a popular testing choice, as was the hill road from Drymen to Gartmore and Aberfoyle, both of which provided gradients and hazards equal to most which would be encountered in eventual working service.
