An Albion Lorry on test. The driver would appear to be Richard Twelvetrees who at this period was a well known tester of every make of commercial vehicle and whose critical reports could be read in the pages of the motor trade press.Note the warning device which was a battered bulb horn below the driver’s right arm. This view clearly shows the famous Albion rising sun motif cast into the radiator header tank. This feature was introduced in 1923 on the small brass badge on radiators of the ‘ Viking ‘ charabanc.
