One of a fleet of Guy Arabs, AWG 371, supplied to W.Alexander & Sons Ltd. Of Falkirk in 1948. The vehicles had metal bodywork by Cravens Railway Carriage & Wagon Co. Ltd., which during the war years produced aircraft components. The main structure of the Craven bodies consists of rolled metal section pillars extending to the height of the upper deck seat rail and continued in a lighter gauge to support the roof. The roof is of sheet aluminium; exterior panelling is 18g sheet aluminium except at the rear wheel arches where 20g sheet steel is used.
