B.S.A. three-wheeler at Braemar Depot in November 1932. Registered in Dundee as YJ 261 it is seen with single deck Albion, fleet no. F32 owned by W. Alexander and Sons and registered WG 575. The B.S.A. was powered by a V-twin engine and weighed less than 8cwt which allowed it to be driven on a motorcycle licence (it qualified as a motorcycle and sidecar combination)-provided the reverse gear was disabled!. With age and body sag the doors tended to fly open, but this was quickly remedied by picking the car up by the rear to restore the factory settings!. It featured front-wheel drive and had i.f.s. using 8 quarter-elliptic springs.
