This tower contained a water tank to supply the sprinkler system installed in 1905 when the building was constructed. The factory was built between 1905 & 1906 at a cost of ë£220.000. The architect was Charles Halley. This photo was possibly taken in 1984.his photograph was taken while awaiting new investors.
