Bedford OB Duple Vista body

The Bedford OB type with a Duple Vista bodywork was a popular choice on the Orkney Isles and here is a 1946 example squeezing through the narrow streets in Stromness as it approaches the end of its run from Kirkwall, Mainland. John G. Nicolson inherited his farther’s business and continued to operate until selling up on retiral in 1963. Today the majority of Orkney services are provided by James Peace, who also operates coach hire in the Aberdeen area.
