GD 4021 with its crew, destined for Bo’ness and Grangemouth.Reo became the most successful U.S. chassis sold in the U.K..The name Reo derived from R.E.Olds who was ousted from the board of the Olds Motor Works in 1904. He went on to develop the Reo company and Olds Motor Works became Oldsmobile and a major part of General Motors.
